The producers of the upcoming horror film SURVIVAL have teamed up with SURFANDERSON.COM to throw together a fund raising party to promote the movie at the Texas Frightmare Weekend in Dallas Texas in June.
As people in the Upstate know, SurfAnderson parties are GREAT for local exposure. So the producers of Survival are seeking a band who is looking for that kind of exposure to play for an enthusiastic crowd at the upcoming fundraising party.
Several upstate SC actors appear in the film Survival and will be going to the Texas Frightmare Weekend to promote the movie. The costs of promoting the movie, as well as transportation costs, food, etc. can be very expensive, so the good people at SURFANDERSON have given us the opportunity to raise some funds by having a SURFANDERSON/SURVIVAL party in May.
We need a band and/or a DJ that wants local exposure but can afford to play for free to provide the entertainment. We would also welcome any donations of liqour/beer/food for the party.
Of course, for aiding us in this venture the band/DJ will have a special credit in the movie as well as gaining new fans by playing this gig.
