To The Vodka Lovers On My List....

My future father-in-law turned me on to the Best Vodka I have ever tasted. When he told me about it,I laughed to myself and thought,yeah right, He said it was distilled in Austin,Texas;which enhanced my doubt about his claims. Austin,Texas is not a place you would think of when thinking of top-shelf vodka.
It's called "Tito's Handmade Vodka". He sent me over part of a bottle to try. Knowing that I drink my vodka "Shaken & Chilled"; he asked me to try a taste straight from the bottle first, before taking a drink chilled. I thought what the hell & turned up the bottle & took a taste. Much to my surprise & utter joy it went down smooth as spring water,with no aftertaste whatsoever. Stunned,I took another drink with the same pleasant result. I broke out my shaker & some ice and fixed me a "good double". I downed it and it was the best tasting,easiest drinking vodka that I had ever tried. It is distilled six times in small copper pot stills & is filtered through activated carbon. And this is the "kicker"....it made from Corn!
