Right now I'm still reading a lot of poetry books.
I'm fascinated with The Harlem renaissance and the works of Langston Hughes as well as the post-renaissance work of writers like Gwendolyn Brooks.

Still though I'm currently (and probably will always remain)obsessed with modern poets such as Allen Ginsberg, Billy Collins, Carl Sandburg, John Berryman, E.E. Cummings and the amazing and immortal Charles Bukowski.

I recently picked up "Natural History" by Dan Chiasson and I have to say that I'm really impressed.

I'm Scott,
That is very much an explanation if you know me.
If not, well here...
I like to write.
I post a lot of blogs, they're listed below.
As well as some on here.
I play Bass in a band, Phasers On Stun with a bunch of guys who are better at their instruments than I am, but still they keep me around.
It's probably because of my amazing charisma...and charm...
