I love to write.
When I'm not keeping the bill collectors at bay, toiling at my day job, I write.
I am in the process of bringing my latest book to press. The title is still on the drawing board, but it's a no holds barred look at how not to deal with middle age and all its' downfalls. The rose colored glasses are off in this hysterical look at the trials and tribulations those of us over forty deal with on a daily basis. Barring any unforseen disasters, it should be available in bookstores by mid July 2008. Stay tuned for film at 11.
My most recently published book, The Paramedic, was a two year labor of love, and my first attempt at the contemporary erotic romance genre. It was a long stretch from my first book, The Tenderfoot's Guide to Family Camping.
When I'm not working or writing, I spend a great deal of time trying to make the fixer-upper home I bought two years ago, habitable. I might have a better chance at making the New York Times best seller list.
In my spare time, I play guitar. I have a small recording studio set up in my house and, when the mood strikes, I knock out a few songs I've managed to scribble down over the years.
I'm single. I tried marriage but it just didn't work out. To my great fortune, I have two beautiful children; my oldest is 22 and on his own. My youngest is now 16 and the apple of her daddy's eye.
I love to cook and BBQ, so no one on Atkins is safe at one of my BBQ's or poker games. I'm Italian and learned to cook authentic Italian dishes directly from the source. My Mom could make shoe leather taste like ambrosia.
I'm on the web at www.bgreenleaf.com if you'd like to read some of my short stories or read more about The Paramedic.
And, for your dining and dancing pleasure, my little greasy spoon diner, authorsden.com is open 24/7. Antacids served with every entree.
